How strange it must have been for those native americans, so long ago, to watch those first settlers, with their strange clothes, language and customs, to see them struggle to make their way in this new land. How kind and gracious it was of them to have compasson for the new comers, and help them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am so impressed with the idea behind etsy and the age at which these young people started this company, and in turn how great a tool of empowerment it is for so many people. The ability for the customer to have handmade goods, to really appreciate the craft involved, to know something about the creator of an object. For the artist, the freedom to create and then to be appreciated as an artist by a wider audience. To get paid to do something that you LOVE. Think of how many happy people that creates!

I sold 2 hats at the craft fair! My hubby came up with the title to this post…….I thought it was quite good. I just wanted to share with everyone, that wished me well at the craft fair. I think it is a great start! I will be making more to put in my etsy shop…….Thank you everyone, for the kind words and good wishes. I need to get busy, I have a comissioned piece to make….I hope they like it.
