Thankful

I’ve been doing some thinking about why a blog has become important to me. I think mainly I am hoping that is will be a tool to help me focus on the beauty and fullness of my life. I remember one of my first college art classes was a photography class, it was as though I had new eyes, I saw beauty all around me. The fender and headlight on an electric blue VW Bug was suddenly “art”. I want to use this blog  in the same way. I want to be able to see beauty all around and really focus on it…as I write that, it sounds hokey and a little too pollyanna…but something I need none the less. I believe that might just be the first time I have ever used, ” none the less” ;).

Call me Pollyann too then! For I see my blog in the same way…as a way to capture fleeting moments of beauty and sharing it, and counting life’s many blessings. And since I do a lot of crafting, have to be making something, I want to share that too…A Spanish Proverb says, “Unshare joy is an unlighted candle.” That’s how I feel. A heart full of joy must be share! Thank you for sharing your joy & beauty! And thank you for visiting my blog…I look forward to coming back and visiting you here! Happy Weekend to you & yours! :o)
